The Fastest WordPress Host

I’m fairly sure that Amazon EC2 loads my WordPress sites faster than I’ve ever seen them load. Anywhere. Ever. I keep reloading my site just to see how fast it is. And it is fast. I’m talking Zappos fast.

Granted, I’ve never installed WordPress on my own sweet physical server, but I don’t really have the need to, and I feel like most people running WP installations probably feel the same way. This is just a site for fun, and so I can Google myself later if I put any really good tips up that I need to refer to in the future.

Here’s the Chrome resource tracker screenshot. And if you don’t use Chrome, you should. In fact, I just loaded the site in Firefox and it took literally a full second to load up. Pff like I have that kind of time to wait for a site to load!
